These terms apply to your use of shop.waaree, operated by Waaree Energies Limited (“Waaree,” “we,” “us,” “our”). “You” means the customer using the site.
To help your order and your products work safely and as intended, you agree to the following responsibilities.
1. ACCURATE INFORMATION
- Provide correct and complete details — name, delivery address, PIN code, contact number, and (where required) GSTIN and billing details.
- Keep your contact details current so you can receive order and delivery updates.
- You are responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information you provide.
2. AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY
- Be available, or arrange someone, to receive and inspect the order.
- Check the packaging and report any visible damage, tampering, shortage or wrong item within the timeline stated in the Shipping & Delivery Terms.
3. SAFE HANDLING, INSTALLATION AND USE
- Solar modules, inverters and batteries are electrical products. Have them installed and commissioned only by a qualified, certified professional, following the manufacturer’s manuals and applicable safety and electrical codes.
- Do not modify, open or tamper with products in ways that the manual prohibits. Improper handling or installation can be dangerous and can void the warranty.
- Follow all safety instructions and local regulations, including any approvals or net-metering/grid-connection requirements that apply to you.
4. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
- Products are covered by the applicable manufacturer/product warranty, with its own terms, duration and exclusions. Please read the warranty supplied with the product, available on ‘WaareePrime+’.
- Retain your invoice and warranty documents as proof of purchase.
- Warranty claims may be rejected where damage results from misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, accident, or normal wear and tear.
5. LAWFUL AND INTENDED USE
- Use the products and the site lawfully and for their intended purpose.
- Do not buy for resale or redistribution in a way that breaches these terms, any reseller/dealer agreement, or applicable law, unless we have agreed in writing.
- Keep your account secure and do not share your login or OTPs.
6. YOUR LIABILITY
- You are responsible for losses arising from your breach of these terms, from incorrect information you provide, or from unsafe or unauthorised installation or use.
- These responsibilities do not take away any rights you have as a consumer under applicable Indian law.
